Fairhurst

Synopsis:

Phil is a chartered engineer with 30 years experience in the design and construction of a wide range of civil and structural engineering projects. He is currently the partner responsible for Fairhurst’s Bristol office and Wellesbourne office.

He maintains a close involvement in all the projects undertaken in Bristol, particularly at the concept design stage, to ensure that the Clients expectation for economic, buildable and functional designs are met and that they are delivered in a timely manner. Particular sectors in which Phil has developed specialist knowledge include commercial office developments, industrial / distribution warehousing, heavy duty pavings and floor slabs.

Phil sits on the Concrete Society committee that is re-drafting Technical Report 34 'Concrete Industrial Ground Floors' and provides Expert Witness advice to clients on floor slab and external paving defects.
