Planning & Development

The Planning & Development Service offers a comprehensive multi-disciplinary package of related disipline services to undertake the assessment, planning, co-ordination, design and implementation of development projects which simplifies the Client's task of co-ordination, but ensuring the Client's full executive control of the project.

The Service is based in the Newcastle office of Fairhurst, but has a range of clients throughout the UK and supports all other offices in the partnership. Headed by Principal Director, Miles Walker, the Service offers a comprehensive multi-disciplinary package of professional design, planning, and landscape services that fall within the following key areas; Urban Design, Masterplanning, Development Planning, Landscape Architecture, Sustainability, Environmental Impact Assessments and Minerals & Waste Planning.

The Service aim is to provide a commitment to clients and constantly strive to meet high standards in the quality of work. Every project undertaken is considered individually, working to create a unique solution for each client in a sustainable manner.

The Service also has a rapidly expanding range of major public and private sector clients covering all realms of professional planning expertise. The positive staff, client and Local Planning Authority feedback is recognition of the Service's success.
