Graduate Waste Engineer - Glasgow office:

£Negotiable

Owing to continued growth and expansion, Fairhurst is currently recruiting for it's Waste Management Team in Glasgow. Having secured several significant projects with wide variety of project based work within waste and the wider construction sector we are currently looking for a Graduate Waste Engineer. Candidates will have the opportunity to be involved in waste engineering, permitting, planning and site based work, as well as geotechnical and geo-environmental projects depending upon suitability, with experience in the following key areas:

  • 2-3 years experience in waste industry ideally consultancy
  • CQA landfill construction works experience
  • LandSim and GasSim modelling experience

 

 

 

Skills in the following areas are also required:

  • Report writing
  • Ability to work unsupervised on site
  • Accurate, detailed record keeping
  • Communication and interpersonal skills

 

 

 

A good undergraduate and ideally postgraduate degree required. Ideally, you will be a member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management and able to demonstrate a successful record in the Waste Sector.
