Fairhurst was appointed by Royal Mail to provide planning supervisor services for the Scotland and Northern Ireland regions. This was extended to include site safety audits of contractors undertaking both reactive and preventative maintenance. The works varied from minor maintenance activities to major refurbishments and were carried out over a diverse estate covering a wide geographical area.

Graeme is a Chartered Engineer with twenty years experience in the design of a wide range of civil and structural engineering. He began his career with Arup working both in the UK and abroad before joining a private practice in Edinburgh where he was made Associate. In 2001 Graeme joined Fairhurst as Technical Director and has run the Dundee Office for the past 5 years.
