Regen (NT) LLP proposed to redevelop a 30 acre former dockland site. The site at Smiths Dock, on the north bank of the River Tyne, contains 6 graving docks of various sizes which has had many industrial uses over its lifespan. The site is to be reclaimed and infrastructure provided to allow an 1200 housing development to take place.

Ron is a chartered engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has been a partner of Fairhurst since 2003 and has over 25 years experience in the construction industry.
Throughout his career he has been responsible for design, coordination and value management of a wide range of civil and structural projects covering all sectors, including retail, commercial, industrial, municipal, residential and infrastructure.
