As part of Fairhurst's ongoing work for SITA UK Ltd on the restoration of Ness Landfill in Aberdeen, Fairhurst were instructed to determine the planning requirements of an attenuation basin and new access track. This basin will form an integral part of the remediated landfill's Surface Water Management Plan, attenuating surface infiltration and run off to maintain discharge rates within the capacity of the receiving surface water drainage system.
