The Project involved refurbishment of the existing school building to form office space to be used as the regional headquarters for The Highland Council.
Works to the building required major internal structural alterations including removal and reconstruction of access stairs, floor reconstruction and structural stabilisation.
Externally, the construction of a 150 space car park including associated Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems and significant earthworks were required.

Alister is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years experience of working within the Construction Industry, predominately in the Highlands of Scotland and has a wide range of experience in both the design and construction of Civil, Structural and Building Projects.
Alister established Fairhurst's Inverness office in 2001 and is responsible for market development and overall supervision of technical staff.
