New ‘state of the art’ automotive facility which comprises of car showroom, service and valet facility, external car display and customer and staff parking.
The building footprint is approximately 7000m2 and incorporates an area of 5000m2 for car display and 2000 m2 for service, valet and parts. 35,000m2 of hard standing is provided for car display and customer and staff parking.
The structure of the building is formed in structural steel supported on traditional pad and strip foundations. Cellform beams supported by circular hollow section columns located on a 20m grid provides the main structural support to the lightweight metal deck roof over the car showroom. This provides an efficient design and allows services to be integrated within the depth of the structure.

John is a Chartered Engineer and has built a strong reputation within the Scottish market, retaining a broad Client base within a variety of key sectors.
These sectors particularly include education, residential and Government areas with the latter involving the current SPS Prison upgrade and expansion programme.
John is a Partner with responsibility for market development and his Civil/Structural team in the Glasgow office whilst also supporting the other operational units.
