Proposals by Trump International are for the development of a world class golfing resort and residential housing units at Menie Estate, Balmedie, Aberdeenshire.
Fairhurst were commissioned to carry out assessment of a wide range of transportation issues including preparing an Access Strategy, Transport Assessment and STAG Part 1 Appraisal to assess the justification for accessing the development from the adjoining A90 trunk road, impact of the development on the local transport network and to demonstrate the proposals’ compliance with national and local planning policy and objectives of promoting sustainable development.

Malcolm Fraser
Partner
Malcolm is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience in the design of civil and structural projects. He is currently Partner in charge of the Firm’s Edinburgh office and he has executive responsibility for implementing and reviewing the Firm’s Health and Safety Policy.
He is ultimately responsible for all civil structural and transportation projects undertaken in the Edinburgh office. The projects range in scale from small structural surveys to large multi disciplinary schemes valued in excess of £100m.
