J.W. Filshill Ltd are a convenience distribution company based in the Hillington Industrial Estate in Glasgow. Due to recent growth Filshill decided to build a new distribution / warehouse centre within their existing site boundary to better accommodate increased numbers of vehicle movements to the site.
Fairhurst were commissioned to assess the potential implications of the proposals and to recommend solutions to ensure optimal performance of the new development.

Malcolm Fraser
Partner
Malcolm is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years experience in the design of civil and structural projects. He is currently Partner in charge of the Firm’s Edinburgh office and he has executive responsibility for implementing and reviewing the Firm’s Health and Safety Policy.
He is ultimately responsible for all civil structural and transportation projects undertaken in the Edinburgh office. The projects range in scale from small structural surveys to large multi disciplinary schemes valued in excess of £100m.
