A 370ha mixed residential and commercial development, including the construction of 5 no. waste stabilization ponds or lagoons and 1 no. wetland, for the regional storm-water attenuation and the biological treatment of polluted surface water run-off from roads and car parks.
The site is recognised by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) as the largest single development application of "Best Management Practice" for sustainable water drainage techniques in the UK to date.
