Fairhurst were employed to develop a wetland SuDS scheme as part of a proposed industrial development with the objective of treatment of storm water within the Elrick Burn. The scheme forms part of the 3Dee Vision project to improve water quality in the River Dee and to demonstrate a notion of ‘best practice’ with regard to potential future requirements under the Water Framework Directive.
