Fairhurst worked with Grainger plc on a planning application for a residential development comprising around 100 homes. The proposed development will be sited on land east of Hadston, between the A1068, Hadston Road and existing residential development. The development would form the third phase of new residential development to the south and east of Hadston, comprising a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes.
Over the last 15 years Grainger plc has made several significant contributions to the regeneration of Hadston, supporting a range of community initiatives. Grainger plc values the input of local communities, and considers community benefit a key outcome of any development.
Outline planning permission was granted in August 2016. The site was subsequently purchased by Miller Homes. Fairhurst secured Reserved Matters approval on behalf of Miller Homes with development commencing on site in Autumn 2017.
