Within our locally owned, independent civil and structural engineering design partnership we are seeking to further develop our capability to deliver a varied portfolio of civil engineering works in the marine environment. We are seeking experienced professionally qualified Civil Engineers with a positive and practical approach to solving engineering puzzles. Our portfolio of marine work includes harbour and quay walls; piers; wave protection structures; marinas & berthing facilities and coastal land reclamation.

Our clients include the Northern Lighthouse Board, various Local Authorities, private developers and design and build contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver project designs and assessments to our local clients
• Liaise with other members of the team to achieve a co-ordinated solution
• Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages
• Coordinating and liaising with client’s staff and project stakeholders

Qualifications / Experience:

• Chartered or Incorporated with ICE
• Relevant experience of civil engineering problem solving and development of sound engineering solutions
• Good report writing, communication and numerical skills
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure
• Confidence and ability to take of responsibility for work on projects, small and large
