Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer


Due to a healthy forward workload, we are currently looking to appoint a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our Geo-Environmental/Flood Risk team. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the UK’s leading Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy’s, working with governments, businesses, architects and planners and providing integrated solutions across many disciplines


The main purpose of the job is to provide specialist engineering input to a variety of projects as a member of a project team (Geo/Env Business).

This is a hands-on role to provide a solution to the customer’s problem.  As part of the team you will apply your skills to complete each project accurately and on-time.

This is also a development role and there will be customer contact.  This will be ongoing and will increase with experience.  An understanding of how the mechanics and economics of a project work, will also be part of this development.

As the role becomes more senior there will be the opportunity to start managing smaller projects and standing in for the Project Engineer when necessary.


Your principal role will be to learn to be a Geo-Environmental engineer working within small teams, produce designs and drawings, reports, attending sites to obtain samples etc. As you progress you can expect to be active on a number of projects and to work with a number of clients at any given time.

Qualifications / Experience:

First degree plus post-grad training in geotechnical or environmental science, any post grad experience is a distinct advantage.
