RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, manipulate and interpret geotechnical and geo-chemical data as part of site investigations across a wide range of projects
- Preparation of Geotechnical Desk Studies, Interpretative Reports and Specifications
- Design, procure and supervise of site investigations
- Conduct geotechnical analysis and design including slope stability assessments, settlement assessments and foundation and retaining wall design
- Inspections of foundations and gas protection measures to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Provide site support and monitoring for infrastructure construction contracts
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach to teamwork
- Confidence in taking on increasing levels of responsibility for both small and large scale projects
- Clean driving license
Advantageous Skills:
- An MSc in Geotechnical Engineering
- Previous experience in GIS modelling
- Experience with Holebase Software
Knowledge of Hydrogeological modelling
