For the last 30 years, we have worked in partnership with Aberdeen City Council to undertake cyclical structural appraisal and condition surveys on all 59 multi-storey blocks of flats and assisted with the management of repair contracts. Our experience of the Council’s housing stock is second to none having historically been the Structural Engineer on all 59 multi-storey blocks.
Working with our longstanding strategic partner Skyform, who provide cradle access, we undertake façade surveys and prepare reports in accordance with guidelines set out by BRE.
Following submission of reports we undertake management of repair contracts on behalf of the Client and provide all required specifications, bill of quantities and tender documentation for the remedial works. We also act on behalf of the Client as the Contract Administrator for the project.
