Fairhurst’s Geotechnical and Environmental Services Team provide a wide range of specialist services and routinely works on independent projects or as part of a wider multidisciplinary design team.
There are currently over 60 Geo-Engineers working across the offices including:
- Chartered Geotechnical Engineers (ICE Accredited)
- Chartered Geologists (Geological Society and ROGEP)
- Geo-Environmental Engineers (CIWEM)
- Geo-Chemical Engineers
- Hydrogeologists
- Mining Legacy Engineers
Fairhurst supports clients across all stages of projects which can include:
Feasibility: Desk Studies, optioneering development constraints identification.
Planning and Investigation: Providing advice on Planning Applications and Environmental Statements (ES). Design and management of intrusive ground investigations, factual and interpretative reporting.
Design: Including foundations, retention, slope stabilisation, brownfield remediation, mineral consolidation and earthworks.
Site: Providing contract administration and/or site monitoring.
Asset Management: Providing inspection, geotechnical asset management and risk assessment including specialist access.
