The Destiny Bridge and New Kingsway, has been recognised as the Transport Infrastructure Project of the Year at the Scottish Civil Engineering Awards 2025.

Officially opened this 31st March, the Cross Tay Link Road is a national exemplar in low-carbon construction, achieving a remarkable 51,000 tCO₂e saving through innovative design, procurement and construction.

This transformative project not only eases congestion and improves air quality but also enhances the local environment with 12km of active travel routes, new wetlands, a green bridge and community spaces.

Fairhurst provided full project management service and comprehensive technical delivery from structural and highway design including full BIM Level 2 delivery, Site Supervision and stakeholder support.

This scheme was delivered in partnership with Perth & Kinross Council, BAM UK & Ireland, and our JV partners Ove Arup & Partners.
