This was a major refurbishment project of a 1980’s office building. The substantial, full-scale refurbishment looked not only at the existing floorspace within the building, but also at adding more space through clever structural reconfigurations. We partially infilled the atrium to gain more internal floor space and built stunning winter garden balconies into the wall to provide innovative communal breakout zones.
In another significant structural component of the project, we extended the third floor over the existing terrace to create an all-new rooftop dining area with views reaching Windsor Castle. Complete with full catering facilities as well as indoor and outdoor seating.
New below ground drainage and improvements to the sustainable drainage were included as part of the building and surrounding landscaping improvements.
