The Cross Tay Link Road (CTLR) is the biggest infrastructure project ever undertaken by Perth & Kinross Council and Fairhurst is at the heart of the project delivering project management, design and site support services.

The project includes a new 3-span bridge over the River Tay, six kilometre stretch of new local road linking the A9 and the A93 to Blairgowrie and the A94, just north of Scone. The project also includes the construction of two kilometres of realigned dual carriageway on the A9 trunk road just north of the Inveralmond Roundabout.

The project is in full swing with the A9 realignment and overbridge superstructure now in place and traffic switchover from the existing A9 onto the new realigned A9.

The new River Tay main balanced cantilever structure is progressing on programme with the last pour closing the gap on the bridge carried out on Friday, 23rd August 2024.

The new local road linking the A9 with the A93 and A94 includes the Highfield Green Bridge, a new arched structure, providing a new active travel link and wildlife corridor across the link road.

The project is scheduled for completion in Spring 2025.
