Knight Property Group developed the former Devro manufacturing facility, extending to 14 acres, the re-development consisted of the demolition of the existing facilities followed by extensive earthworks and remediation to enable the construction of five large logistic units, complete with associated external yards and infrastructure.
Fairhurst brought specialist expertise in mining, geotechnical and environmental engineering along with extensive experience in the design of large, logistics structures.
Through our in-house specialist capability, we developed a highly efficient and buildable earthworks solution which contributed significantly to the sustainability credentials of the project and helped to limit associated costs.
